The winged spindle bush or also known as The Burning Bush! A handsome plant for the border which has lovely light green leaves in summer & small off white flowers. In autumn a fiery show of yellows to orange to red reds before leaf fall reveals its attractive twiggy stems. As the stems mature corky 'wings' appear along their length giving its common name. Looking great in winter with frost & cobwebs too. Greeny White flowers & purplish berries which split to real orange pips which are loved by the birds. Requires moist but free draining soil in a full sun or part sunny location. Final height & spread 2m x 2m in 15
